Userboxes

[edit]

In response to your email, Wikipedia:Userboxes is a great resource for instructions on how to create a userbox. This page also has a gallery of already made userboxes that you may be interested in using. No worries about censoring the article. Also please check out Wikipedia:Profanity for info on Wikipedia's policy on profanity. --24fan24 (talk) 02:06, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Account Access

[edit]

Hey... I just noticed that someone's been using your account to make some very odd edits, such as creating Severe computer addict with the content "hello", and redirecting your userpage to it. You may want to see if your account has been compromised somehow, or something. — PyTom 07:25, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Mixx FM (FM radio), by Gimme danger (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Mixx FM (FM radio) is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Mixx FM (FM radio), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate Mixx FM (FM radio) itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 07:00, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your Request for Adminship

[edit]

Jetstar, hi. I don't know if you are online at the moment, but it does look likely that your request for adminship probably won't succeed. I suppose it's mostly down to your lack of experience, which might sound harsh, but admins would be expected to have edits in the thousands.

If you want to withdraw the nomination, and that is up to yourself, there is a section at Wikipedia:Guide_to_requests_for_adminship#Closure.

Regarding your concerns about particular articles: if you have a problem with a particular article, you are more that welcome to drop me a message on my talk page, and I'll be happy to take a look. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 07:00, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent RfA

[edit]

I'm sorry, but I've closed your Request for adminship prematurely. Simply put, you've only got 52 edits on Wikipedia; while edit count isn't the only determining factor, and numerous people have their own personal standards that they judge RfA candidates by, there was no chance that the RfA was going to pass.

I'm sorry about this, and hope you don't take it personally. If you continue to contribute to the project in a positive fashion, I'm confident that you could possibly run a successful RfA in the future. You may want to consider submitting yourself to Wikipedia:Editor review for feedback on where to get some good experience, and when you're ready for RfA again, there's a great Wikipedia:Admin coaching program for you to use, as well as a guide to requests for adminship.

If you have any other questions about becoming an administrator, please don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck! EVula // talk // // 19:11, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Aidan Gould

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Aidan Gould requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 23:48, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Aidan Gould

[edit]

I have nominated Aidan Gould, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aidan Gould. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 15:00, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
