Image tagging for Image:Blackburnx2006.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Blackburnx2006.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

I have asked the editor who tagged your holding line article for Keith Rowlands to review his decision. I suggest if you start an article in future you use a stub page to develop the text fully, rather than writing a short holding-line artcile, which can easily be tagged for speedy deletion. If you need help on how to create personal stubs, then either follow the links in your welcome message above, or ask me. Best Regards - Trident13 20:21, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Hello,
Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.
Thanks! --Vox Causa 00:31, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Notability of Dougie Anderson
A tag has been placed on Dougie Anderson, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Wrestlemania 25 page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -- bulletproof 3:16 02:27, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, your edits are speculative and/or constitute original research and cannot be included. Please cite your edits with a reliable source, one that is verifiable. Thank you. -- bulletproof 3:16 16:27, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Wrestlemania 25, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- bulletproof 3:16 16:28, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- This is your last warning.

[edit]You have been blocked for 24 hours for your use of a sockpuppet to get around the vandal warnings given you on this page. --Yamla 21:42, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Notability of Peter Voisey
[edit]A tag has been placed on Peter Voisey requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. coccyx bloccyx(toccyx) 16:30, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Jet2006! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 159 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Jim Spence - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Alisdair Lamont - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Adèle Sica has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:BIO, unable to find significant coverage in third-party reliable sources, "Turning Points" is actually a sex education show for teenagers and presenting shopping channels doesn't confer notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hut 8.5 10:30, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
