Notability criteria for singers
[edit]Hi @Jestet11: I had to revert your article. Theatre directors and singers comes under WP:CREATIVE and to say he is singer, for example, means has must have international presence on several continents, have charted records on several continents, have created albums and have signed a contract with a publisher and have a large social media presence with millions of fans. Does he have that in singing career? scope_creepTalk 18:16, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
- He might be a playwright though, if you can prove it with good sources? scope_creepTalk 18:18, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Yevgeni Ponasenkov, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. scope_creepTalk 19:26, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Jestet11: More than half the article references are now Youtube videos, which is unacceptable in a BLP. Also he is not a singer!! Providing a reference that states he is student of a noted opera singer, doesn't make him a singer either. None of these references are really decent. If you can find better references that are not primary or WP:SPS, then it would be ideal. scope_creepTalk
- @Jestet11: I have requested page protection and the help of an admin since you have been edit warring, refuse to communicate and have WP:OWNER problem. scope_creepTalk 10:32, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

Yevgeni Ponasenkov
[edit]Hi @Jestet11: I removed that work to lede. It's not truthful. I had to two other editors who read and write Russian look at the sources, and just doesn't add up. He is not a historian. Please do not put it back in. Its just WP:PUFF puffing it right out. scope_creepTalk 08:42, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Scope creep
- Of course he is a historian. Let's have a look into the standard Oxford Dictionary:
- A historian is «a person who studies or writes about history; an expert in history» (https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/historian?q=historian).Jestet11 (talk) 19:44, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Jestet11: No he isn't. Doesn't have the correct credentials to enable that to be said of him. We discussed it when the article was written amongst several Russian editors and we looked at the evidence or lack there, and it not there. The consensus was that he was a publicist. Do not change it again. scope_creepTalk 20:03, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Scope creep
- What do you mean by saying «Doesn't have the correct credentials to enable that to be said of him.»? I don't understand. What kind of evidence did you look at?
- Here is a detailed analysis of the director of the Institute of the Russian history at the Russian Academy of Science (the highest institution in Russia) about his work where he is named as historian. (https://phdru.com/mydocs/expert-kolodnikova-ponasenkov-sokolov.pdf)
- He was and is being cited by international scientists and historians. :::https://www.societaitalianastoriamilitare.org/quaderni/2017%20Quaderno%20Sism%20Economic%20Warfare.pdf

- And from linguistic point of view he is a historian. (https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/historian?q=historian</nowiki>)
- Are your Russian editors historians? Are they scientists? Did they read the Oxford Dictionary? Jestet11 (talk) 20:31, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- I'll take a look. It has been a couple of years since the article was posted. I will do it tommorrow. I will take a look at that tonight. scope_creepTalk 20:35, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- I've got half a hour so will translate those two documents now and take a look now. scope_creepTalk 07:20, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
- It will need to be the in the morning or later afternoon. scope_creepTalk 07:44, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
- I couldn't look at it today. Please remind me tomorrow if I don't look at. It was a busy day at work. scope_creepTalk 20:25, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
