The article York Road, Hong Kong has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence of notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:13, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
- Since posting the above message, I have discovered that there has already been a discussion about an earlier article on this subject. The consensus at that discussion was that the article should be deleted, so I have deleted the new one too. (The new article actually did less to address the reasons for deletion than did the old one.) JamesBWatson (talk) 14:17, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
- Please gimme some time to work on it. Jeremy Hopkins (talk) 14:20, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
- Once a decision to delete a page has been made at a deletion discussion, that page may not be recreated unless the reasons for deletion have been addressed. If it is recreated, it may be deleted immediately. Nothing in the new version of the article that you have written suggests any notability at all. Generally speaking, most individual roads in cities are not notable enough to be the subjects of encyclopaedia article. (It seems to be a peculiar characteristic of people in Hong Kong to think that every road is notable.) Notability is not inherited: a road is not notable because it is associated with notable people. Since you have asked, I will give you a little time to ass some information which was not available at the time of the deletion discussion to the article to indicate that the road is notable. However, I do mean a little time. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:29, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
- James, you may want to keep your comments about people in Hong Kong private. Thank you. olivier (talk) 16:37, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

The article Peter Nguyen (judge) has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Yunshui 雲水 10:32, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
In Use tag
[edit]Hi Jeremy. You've placed an {{inuse}}
tag on Peter Nguyen (judge), requesting that other editors refrain from editing the article whilct you update it. I notice from your contribution history that you've edited several other pages since placing the tag; can I assume that you've finished your editing there and remove the tag? Thanks, Yunshui 雲水 11:09, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
