The article on the review has been listed for deletion as a copyright violation of the website. Please see our Business FAQ (which also applies to non-profit organisations) for an explanation of this and related issues. Even if you were to license it, it is not suitable as an article--it needs to describe the publication in a manner suitable for an encyclopedia--which does not include subscription information, a list of members, etc. It would be useful to indicate circulation, ISSN, official status, and similar concerns when you redo it. The Law Review
[edit]- I have cleaned up the opening paragraphs for you. The mission section needs to be cleaned up in a similar way.
- The list of current members needs to go. The only name really needed is the Editor in Chief.
- Some more third party references that demonstrate the importance that the Academic Community as a whole accords the Review would be good.
- The community service section is not related to the journal itself - which is what the article is about - but is about the community that has grown around the journal. It doesn't belong on Wikipedia.
- The contents of the current issue, while demonstrative of the area the Review is publishing also doesn't belong on Wikipedia. The contents can be got through the link to the Review website. Also, maintaining that part of the page means that it would have to be updated every time there was a new issue. Much better to just leave it to interested people to follow the link.
- I don't know what the current Wikipedia policy is on including contact information for a journal in an article. I suspect that it should go as well - it is after all in the Review's website.
- Add the information that DGG suggested in his last sentence above.
I hope this helps you make this article a "keep". If you have any questions, please ask me on my talk page. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 09:11, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
