Request reason:
Good evening! I'm so sorry for everything that's happened. I feel extremely childish for participating in "Wikipocalypse 2012", as it's been dubbed. It was completely unnecessary. That and the fact that I believed that no one would find it, since I doubted the importance of pine trees. But, I know better now and have realized that being unblocked is necessary to continue to add to my school's wikipedia page and fix all of those annoying grammar mistakes I come across in my reading. So, if you'd please consider unblocking my account, I would be ever grateful. Thanks.
Accept reason:
You have made 14 edits, of which, as far as I can see, just one was vandalism. I am prepared to believe that you really do realise that was silly, and will not do the same again. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:57, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the page Brookland-Cayce High School, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition was deleted under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License." You may also e-mail or mail the Foundation to release the content. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more.
While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:24, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi Jennifer,
I've restored the Brookland-Cayce High School page, and rewritten it without the material that was originally featured on Brookland-Cayce's own website. Please feel free to contribute the page, but be advised that all material must be sourced, as well as not be plagiarized from other published sources.
Thanks for your efforts. Go Bearcats! Bastique ☎ call me! 01:38, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
