[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as on Talk:Jackie Mason, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. Thanks for your help. Your 1961 NYTimes abstract (good catch!) pretty much nails the case for 1931, or at least strongly supports it. Hertz1888 (talk) 09:01, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Outing
[edit]Wikipedia policy forbids the outing of any editors' real life identities, and does not in any circumstances require an editor to identify themselves publicly. While your original question to the editor could be seen as merely inquiry, your most recent statement turned it into a statement of alleged fact. Please read WP:OUTING, and do not make any further public claims about the real life identities of other Wikipedia editors, or you could end up being blocked from editing. This really is a trivial issue and easily dealt with without resorting to attempts to violate editors' rights to anonymity. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 07:44, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
