I've brought the articles you mentioned to AfD in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/KVSJ (AM); they certainly don't meet WP:BROADCAST and have no FCC license, and "Hot 923 The Beat" had zero relation to KRRL; it's either a false or illegal broadcaster, or a kid plugging their iPhone into a souped-up car transmitter and playing pretend radio station. Last Alpha W2K build being RC1 or RC2?

In this edit to DEC Alpha, Oscareczek changed RC1 to RC2, with the only reference being the URL https://www.thecollectionbook.info/builds/windows/build/212 in the edit comment. I reverted that edit, with the comment "the existing reference says RC1; if you want to say RC2, replace that reference with one that says RC2. (Which one is correct?)", and used the Wayback Machine for the "existing reference".

I'm not sure which of the references - http://web.archive.org/web/20080708183609/http://www.alphant.com/articles/windows2000.html, for the RC1 claim or https://www.thecollectionbook.info/builds/windows/build/212, for the RC2 claim - is from a more reliable source, so I just left the reversion in place. Re the Windows NT article, I see nothing at the CNN source that mentions any RC at all. That's why I moved the ref to where I did.

There is controversy over RC1 vs RC2 because RC1 is the last one that they shipped as part of the regular MSDN subscription. I still have those CDs. There is a CD whose label includes "Windows 2000", "Release Candidate 1", and "Alpha". There are no mentions of Alpha on the RC2 or later CDs. But there are a lot of claims around the web that Win2K RC2 for Alpha exists. One stated that it may have been shipped to "important customers" (I would suspect "important OEMs", but whatever). It could well have been leaked by one of them. The page at thecollectionbook has the right build number for RC2, but as I have no Alpha system any longer to check it on, that's as knowledgeable a comment as I can make. Personally I think the Alpha NT mail list archive is a more reliable source, and I'm going to add it to the Windows NT article.

Failing the existence of an MSDN disc or similar with Alpha RC2 it seems to me to be completely fair to say that RC1 was the last Alpha release made generally available by Microsoft. Jeh (talk) 19:12, 15 February 2018 (UTC)

My patience is waning (especially with their WP:GALLERY/slogan issues) but I'd like to see if these last warnings have any effect on their editing. Nate • (chatter) 06:45, 16 February 2018 (UTC)

None of the other warnings have had an effect, so I don't expect these to. The history of their talk page indicates that they've never edited it, ie they've never responded to any warnings, for what that's worth. Jeh (talk) 07:19, 16 February 2018 (UTC)

I'm currently dealing with an IPv6-hopper who keeps spamming "was first station to play" trivia to various radio station articles. I swear, membership in the "radio station" category should be enough to get any article semi-protected. They are magnets for trivia spammers. Jeh (talk) 11:44, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
