The article 1991 Punjabi landslide has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

None of the references refer, at least in the titles, to this event; all are ostensibly either general or refer to other landslides. Punjab is a huge region of India, so I am not filled with confidence that this event actually occurred, since it seems unreasonable to assume that there would be no online sources. Its author(s) are invited to provide them, or specify a more precise location. In the absence of specificity, the article should go, without prejudice to recreation.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rodhullandemu 22:58, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
