RFC

[edit]

I invite your comment here., an RFC I have filed regarding my perception of issues in your editing that need to be corrected. You are welcome to reply in the section labled "Response." Hipocrite - «Talk» 19:11, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

[edit]

You aren't supposed to make edits to sections of an RFC other than your own - see the instructions at the top of the page. To keep the RFC from spinning out of control, it would probably be a good idea to self-revert the edits you've made to the Statement of Dispute section. - 12.158.190.38 20:36, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Jeffrey, you've changed the RFC by editing the description section. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 20:42, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I changed it back and added to comments to my response section. Jeffrey Vernon Merkey 20:54, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just a few suggestions

[edit]

Thank you for being reasonable on the RfC, Mr. Merkey (I'm sorry, I feel weird referring to folks to their first name without their ok). I have just a few unsolicited suggestions (worth every penny you pay for them! (grins)). As I said, there's a group of people who have fun by antagonizing you and forcing you to respond to them.

One thing that it might help to do before believing folks are here to antagonize you is check their contributions. If they have a wide variety of contributions, then it's much more likely that they have an honest disagreement with you and things can be worked out fairly easily. If it's a new account with no contributions, then you can probably combine that with the message and figure out "This is someone who wants me to react, so they can yuk it up"

Also, I get to put my recent training (I am a techie guy) to good use. They did a study on what people respond to in communications. In verbal communication, like 50% of what the other person gets out of it, comes from the tone of one's voice. In non-verbal communication, the "tone" is like 88% of the message. If you can moderate the "tone" of your message, it'd probably be better received.

Anyway, I've used up enough of your time, already. I hope you keep my suggestions in mind. Have a great day. SirFozzie 21:06, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will honor the words of one of the Great War Chief's of the ᎩᎵᏏ people with whom we had many treaties of old. Your words will be honored and obeyed. Jeffrey Vernon Merkey 21:59, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Merkey...this is also essentially what I have stated here on your Rfc.--MONGO 21:38, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
