I reverted your edit to Qatar as it had much of the same text from the CIA and the US Department of State. I think Human Rights would be appropriate in the article, but we must come up with new text. --Matt 21:24, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Your edits to Academy of Art University
[edit]Under Wikipedia guidelines, the recent material that you have added to the article requires references that point to independent, credible sources (such as print encyclopedias, media coverage by newspapers, television) for the incidents that you have cited to help provide a neutral point of view (NPOV). Independent sources do not include, for example, web blogs, personal web sites or sites that include as its focus advertisement for services). The requirement for citing the reference or source of the information is to provide attribution of the event to a particular independent authority and to enhance the credibility of the article. Information that cannot be substantiated by an public independent reporting source is subject to deletion from the article.

I have no idea myself, but I would feel it would be better if you asked such questions on a forum. Alientraveller 20:08, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Superman
[edit]You're assuming that his hair would be sharp simply because it is thin and unbreakable, but that isn't necessarily the case. I also don't see a lot of people running their hands through his hair anyway, and his "arm hair" is typically covered by clothing. It would be odd to see Clark in shorts and a t-shirt, given that he wears his suit underneath his clothes. Since his hair is...well, hair, the wind would still move it around. Wind doesn't apply tension to the hair, so it isn't likely to break even your hair if you were to travel at the speed of sound--you'd probably die from the G-forces though, but that's a different matter. As for impact, his skin is unbreakable, like steel, which is not the same as made of steel. His skin would feel like skin, only extremely toned--think body builder tone, but without the bulk. Body builder muscles typically feel as hard as rocks under the skin, but the skin itself still feels like skin. Heat vision is used to cut, not move. If he flew into the Sun, he's probably burn...but if he survived long enough to fly away from it, then it would all heal and his hair would grow back (i.e. Super human healing factor, kind of like Wolverine). - Don't confuse texture with firmness. Dry hair feels different than healthy hair, but it still moves in the wind just the same. The skin of a fat person feels the same as the skin from a skinny person, it's the firmness that would be different. If you touched Superman, his skin would feel like skin, but if you pressed down on him it would feel like pressing down on steel that was covered in skin.
- As for C-3PO, it could be that the manufacturer of the voice synthesizer had a British accent, and R2-D2 didn't speak english, only beeps, because he's a simple repair droid--which are probably a dime a dozen considering they had like 4 or 6 on Queen Amidala's ship alone, just for that one section of damaage to the wing. I would assume that everything revolves around money, and it comes to the point that why would waste excess money on giving those droids voice synthesizers when they're job doesn't really require them to speak to people. I doubt that they had the intention of creating those droids for space travel and intergalactic adventures. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 01:32, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Mission Support Cryptographic Unit
[edit]A tag has been placed on Mission Support Cryptographic Unit requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 20:42, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Operation COOKIE MONSTER
[edit]Hello, Jdylan. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Monitoring as a Service, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

The article San Francisco Herald has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG. This article has existed for 15 years and still does not have any independent references, probably because none exist: a Google search and a Google Scholar search only turned up references to the unrelated nineteenth-century newspaper of the same name.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rublov (talk) 20:55, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
