Speedy deletion nomination of KJLG
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on KJLG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Morning Sunshine (talk) 15:40, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to KJRL. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.

KJRL
[edit]KJRL is not entitled to use its Wikipedia article to post the kind of promotional spiel that might appear on its own website. All articles on here must follow our content rules, including that the content must be encyclopedic, not advertorial, in nature and that it must be referenced to reliable sources which are independent of the article topic (such as media coverage about the station in sources other than the station's own website, public FCC licensing documents, etc.) As well, under our conflict of interest rules, outside of correcting strictly factual errors you as an employee of the organization are not entitled to impose the station's own advertising overtop of our content rules. Until such time as the station has a properly written article that follows our content rules, a redirect to Moody Radio is the correct procedure on here. Just to clarify, this is not to suggest that the station can never have an article — but it is not entitled to post an advertisement in lieu of a properly written and properly sourced encyclopedia article.
