Information icon Hello, I'm StefenTower. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Rahman Ali, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. No name changes without citations to back it up. Stefen Towers among the rest! Hi Stefan: his autobiography is on Amazon and it’s spelt the way I’ve corrected it. I should have added a source but his own name spelling as per his book is a primary source for the fact. 2003:CD:672C:5B37:35C8:DBB5:16C6:2647 (talk) 22:17, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thank you. I have another source that agrees, so that makes two hard sources. I'll go ahead and do the updates. Stefen Towers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 22:37, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK many thanks. Here’s the US Amazon site, further confirms. The definitive Muhammad Ali authorised biography, “Muhammad Ali - His Life & Times” (1991) by Thomas Hauser. That also refers to his brother as “Rahaman” throughout. For reference, I was Co-Editor of the 692-page, “GOAT: A Tribute to Muhammad Ali” (2003), published by Taschen. We used “Rahaman” throughout that also.

Also, thank you for setting us on the right path for Rahaman Ali. The misspelling of his first name was just one of many problems in the article. It even got his birth name wrong. Stefen Towers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 00:45, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
