[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Björk, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See MOS:OL. Muhandes (talk) 12:14, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
Hello, Jdigz05, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as JimmyDude27 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Muhandes (talk) 12:14, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
Hi, Muhandes I do not have multiple accounts and I do not know who this other person is. Why did this other person get flagged as being another account of mine. Jdigz05 (talk) 13:49, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
Additionally, I understand why this flag happened since the other user and I both added a hyperlink to Iceland. I am a bit confused on why that disrupted uniformity since many other pages for musicians, such as Freddie Mercury, have links to the nations they were born in. How come in this case it was removed? Jdigz05 (talk) 14:47, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
- I answered your query regarding multiple accounts below. Regarding wikilinks to counties, The guidelines are very clear on the subject. Please also see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Also, In the future, if you want another editor's attention, you may want to ping them. Muhandes (talk) 18:43, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
another account
[edit]Hello Muhandes, I was notified that you mentioned me in JimmyDude27’s Discussion page and said I was possibly a second account for him or vice versa. This is not the case and I have no idea who this person is. Out of curiosity, what was the reason I was accused of being a second account for the other user? Thanks! Jdigz05 (talk) 13:33, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
- The message says "you may be using", and it comes with an assumption of good faith. If there is no connection between you, then you have nothing to worry about. Muhandes (talk) 18:39, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
Got it, thanks! And sorry for the multiple comments. Jdigz05 (talk) 21:38, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
