Blanking comments
[edit]Jcmiller, note that blanking comments from your talk page is not a good idea. Specifically, removing warnings is seen by some as vandalism. --Stephane Charette 06:56, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure where Stephane gets this from but it is not policy, if you are active still you are free to edit your talk page to remove (but not change the meaning of) comments anytime.--Doug.(talk • contribs) 10:08, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Hello, you added "... and capitol of West Michigan" to the bullet point for Grand Rapids, MI in the Michigan article. I've removed this, since GR is certainly not the formal capitol of anything. If "copitol of West Michigan" is an informal or local usage, you need to indicate that in the article. -- dcclark (talk) 20:58, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Mitt Romney
[edit]I saw that you have edited this page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney
This page is the #2 site that comes up when doing a "Mitt Romney" google. In my opinion, it is better than any other Mitt Romney article. However, it is not very comprehensive. I'm trying to make something more like a Mitt Romney book, instead of a Mitt Romney Article. The website is here:
I examine many additional topics, but I want more perspectives than just my own. I would like you to help contribute, if you would like. Just e-mail me at: mike.laub@gmail.com, and I will give you the password!
Until we get more people working on it, I would like to keep the password a secret. I do not have enough time to correct graffiti.
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Michigan Federation of Young Republicans, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Jcmiller! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 358 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- William VanRegenmorter - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 22:38, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Ray Hunkins
[edit]The article Ray Hunkins has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This article does not list any sources. The subject is also non-notable.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Kbabej (talk) 01:28, 18 August 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
