The subjects major contribution was hidden in the article. I made it explicit in the first sentence. Her's is a conceptual contribution that has spawned substantial research on approximate queries in database systems.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. I don't see the reason why it is being deleted. It looks OK on the page Maria Zemankova.
