[edit]I'm wondering if you could clarify for me which, if any, of the following people are also you:

I ask because all of the above seem to be focussed primarily or entirely on the Annie Loyd article and the associated deletion discussion. Note that it is not a violation of Wikipedia policy to use a variety of accounts; however, it is a violation of policy to pretend to be several people in one discussion or issue - such a practice is called sockpuppetry. Since you're new and may not know the rules very well yet, I thought I'd check with you about this before I did anything unduly confrontational, such as opening a sock-puppetry investigation or requesting a checkuser on the I.P.s you've edited from. Anyway, please let me know. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 00:05, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
hey I appreciate the message. None of these people are me . . . the ones that say jbogs3 I take full responsibility for. Otherwise I can say for certain that all of the people that have contacted me are concerned about the page and said they would post. I did NOT ask anyone and did not tell anyone but a couple of friends. I am like others, a person who because of my participation in various volunteer activities, had the great opportunity to meet Annie and was surprised when she didn't have a page. I thought I would write one that I think is fairly honest. This is important to a great many people. Please help me edit it because I know there is much work to be done, but I disagree with the deletion.
I have not broken the policy (which I have read) about sock puppets. I would never do that. I would prefer to see the page stay up because of the truly great person Annie is and the great importance this congressional election is to our district and state.

- Thanks for your response, and I believe you. It's just that it seems very odd when a bunch of editors who have done very little editing in the past suddenly pop up and participate in a deletion discussion. Usually it either means that there's sockpuppetry afoot or that somebody is canvassing for the AfD off-wiki. Could you explain how you found it? Sarcasticidealist (talk) 00:21, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I am really not sure what specifically you are asking me to explain, but in the interest of being forthcoming, I have used wikipedia before and having an interest after meeting Annie again I thought I would wikipedia transpartisan politics and her. I could not find an article on her so I took the advice of the page and tried to create my own. I told a couple of my friends that I was saddened to see it deleted. I can assume that this is how people found out to comment. Otherwise I am not attempting to overwhelm the website or to sockpuppet. I had resigned myself to seeing the page deleted a while ago! haha! I have logged in every time I went to comment so I think that's all I have to do? For the sake of honesty, computers are not my best arena, I just wanted people to get an actual sense of what someone applying transpartisan politics looked like.
