Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 20:47, 21 January 2019 (UTC)

Feedback to Isaac Sears
[edit]Hi Jacob,
Great work. You provided background information on Sears's initial arrival to Plymouth, his vocation, and his activities during the Seven Years' War. You pointed out that British imperial policy forced Sears to do a career change. Maybe you can explain the historical context for the British government's implementation of the Revenue Acts and connect it to Isaac Sears. You provided good descriptions on Sears's infamy in the sight of the British and his clashes with the British. You mentioned that aristocrats were fearful of Sears. Do you know if the aristocrats were pro-British? Regarding sources, you use good secondary literature. I recommend putting the full title of the Yorktown Museum website's article, so that readers can find the information. I tried the provided Yorktown Museum website's link, but it was broken.
