So how do I use this?

This is a baseplate for future Triple J Hottest 100 year pages. To insert it into a page, you must type the following:

{{subst:User:Jb-adder/sandbox/JJJHottest100 Base|year=year|ordinal=ordinal text|startdate=voting start date|enddate=voting end date}}

If you leave out the year, it will assume the current year. Similarly, if the start and/or end dates for voting are left out, they will assume the default dates (which are Boxing Day of the year of the H100 countdown, and the 18th January of the year after).

This template if fully substitutable, i.e. every bit of information will be substituted in, including values from predefined variables and parser functions.

What if I need to change anything?

The page can only be edited once the information is substed in, as all the information is embedded in the page itself.
