[edit]Hello, I'm Binksternet. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tony Levin, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 04:23, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Your recent edit on Genesis (band)
[edit]In your recent edit on Genesis (band), is there any reason Mick Barnard get left with an 'only' while the others got removed, or just an edit mistake? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ToaneeM (talk • contribs) 09:30, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
I was thinking of following the first name in the list with the defining term, and having the others shorter but now that you point it out, it is unnecessary. Changed. Jazzanddarkmatter (talk) 16:04, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
Someone dosen’t want the touring musicians in the info box anyway, so moot point. Jazzanddarkmatter (talk) 12:50, 8 February 2022 (UTC)

Hello. Please do not vandalize the above article by removing properly cited information--in no way do the album packaging credits need to be the sole source for production prose. If you would like to begin a conversation on the talk page or the album talk page, please do so. Thank you. Caro7200 (talk) 16:04, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- I was adding personnel listing as per most other album articles. If you want two of the musicians listed in the production category and in the personnel category, fine. If you don’t want the personnel listed on the article for some reason, I will remove it. Jazzanddarkmatter (talk) 16:11, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Jazz, it's entirely appropriate to add a personnel section--thank you for doing so. But we're also encouraged to discuss the production in the prose, using reliable sources, and noting what reliable sources have noted about the production, background, reception, etc. If you find RS that discuss the other musicians, obviously feel free to add it. Thank you, and have a good day. Caro7200 (talk) 16:17, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for the clarification. Hope you have a good day as well. Jazzanddarkmatter (talk) 16:26, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
