Hi there from Portugal,
please, like you did to this player, no need to be referring to pre-season play, and no need to have season-by-season sub-sections in storyline.
Happy week, happy editing - --AL (talk) 13:29, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2012–13 Football Conference, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Braintree (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Alex Davey (footballer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreferenced BLP, in part copied from here, about a non-notable youth footballer. Fails both the football and general notability guidelines.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jared Preston (talk) 07:27, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

August 2013
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Norwich City 0–1 Luton Town (2013), without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:35, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to 2013–14 Chelsea F.C. season. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 00:14, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
Deleting assists
[edit]Hi. I edit the Real Madrid season page, and a current large-scale discussion regarding the deletion of the assists section is undergoing at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football#Assists. Can you please comment on that page? Thanks. Bobby (talk) 20:14, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
Assist
[edit]Do not add assists as you did at 2013–14 Premier League. There is a consensus not to include assist on WT:FOOTY that you can read at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 81#Assists and on Talk:2013–14 Premier League.
This has also gone to WP:ANI in this discussion where the user inserting assist got warned for editing against consensus. QED237 (talk) 14:02, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Petr Čech. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 02:29, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Stats updates and infoboxes
[edit]Hi, I just wanted to let you know that when updating stats like you did at 2013–14 Premier League you should update the entire stats table according to all sources and not just the part you want. That is disruptive behaviour. Be extra careful when updating infoboxes since you have to updatge the entire infobox and the date at the bottom otherwise it says "as of 13 MArch" but you have added stats after that so it is now incorrect. Every time you update stats (on all wikipedia articles) you must update the entire table, all timestamps and also make sure you do it according to the sources. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 12:58, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
March 2014
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2013–14 Premier League. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. As I told you in my last talk comment QED237 (talk) 23:04, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2013–14 Premier League, you may be blocked from editing. There is also NO REASON TO REMOVE SOURCES that other people used like you did at hat-tricks. QED237 (talk) 23:08, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Cite web
[edit]Hi, I saw you changed "cite web" to "citeweb" in sources for no obvious reason. The template is actually at Template:Cite web and citeweb is a redirect to the proper template. It follows same style as "cite news" and all the other cite template so please use "cite web" and dont put the words together. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 21:49, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Editing advice
[edit]You don't need to put a space between the sentence and the reference.
"Superb volley" is an opinion. We can say that a reporter or manager called it superb, but we shouldn't just call it that.
Finally, see WP:OVERLINK. We usually link each page once in each article. You don't need to link "Chelsea" in Oscar's fourth season, just the first time you write it.
