The article Yuriy Galkin has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Copyright violation in Yuriy Galkin
[edit]I have reduced this article to a stub as you had copied it verbatim from this web site. Please see Talk:Yuriy Galkin for more information and links to guidance pages. If you have any connection whatsoever (personal or professional) with Yuriy Galkin, please also read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Autobiography for guidance when editing under these circumstances . There are also problems with the image you have uploaded please see the messages here as well as on the file page itself. Voceditenore (talk) 07:27, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- I strongly suggest that you add {{cc-by-3.0}} below the summary boxes here. This page explains the terms of the license. If you don't add a license, the image will be deleted on September 26th Voceditenore (talk) 08:22, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Please do not
- remove BLP notices without addressing the issue (this makes the page liable to deletion);
- overwrite properly referenced text with unreferenced text;
- overwrite Wikipedia articles with text copied from another website.
I notice this last point had previously been made above. I've reverted this evening's overwrite. If it happens again I'll again revert the edit and place a Vandalism warning. AllyD (talk) 20:45, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Reliable sources
[edit]You have added text and used "Yuriy Galkin's Official Website" as a repeated reference. Please note that it is not a reliable 3rd party source that can carry the weight of referencing his biography. I suggest you seek other published articles by known writers (like the Fordham one that I added yesterday)? And - repeating a request from some else above - given your exclusive interest in this biography, if you have a potential conflict of interest, can I suggest that you declare that on the article talk page? AllyD (talk) 07:07, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
The article Yuriy Galkin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Questionable notability, couldn't find enough reliable sources
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Vmavanti (talk) 00:18, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
