Image Tagging Image:Edinboro.gif and Image:Edinboroseal.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Edinboro.gif and Image:Edinboroseal.gif . I notice the image pages currently don't specify who created the images, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the images yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the images yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the websites where you got them, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the images also don't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.Rossrs 13:39, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
I added the [Wikipedia:Fair use|fair use]] tag to both. They were both found on the Edinboro University site on the date of the article's creation. Jaysonwhelpley 01:35, 17 January 2006
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:48, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
