[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the page User:Jayingq/sandbox, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition was deleted under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License." You may also e-mail or mail the Foundation to release the content. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more.
While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 12:02, 26 May 2016 (UTC)

University Main Library training session 26.05.2016
[edit]Hello again, Jayingq!
Thank you so much for taking part in the training session. I hope that you enjoyed it and that we'll see you on Wiki again soon.
Now that you've learned the basics, I hope that you'll stay logged in and edit or create more articles. I've added some booklets and some links below that you may find useful. NB: Really sorry we ran out of time (feel like we could do with a part 2) but there is always so much to say & cover. I'll be running a session tomorrow at 3.30-4.45pm in the David Hume building so feel free to come along to the end of that. Alternatively, I will be looking to arrange another session in June and can arrange a time to suit you, if you would like to finish things off? My email is ewan.mcandrew@ed.ac.uk anyway. Please do try the The Wikipedia Adventure and consult the Visual Editor user guide for your immediate next steps.

If you're not feeling bold enough to write an (other) article straight away, why not try a small edit first, or adding a link? Don't worry about being perfect, Wiki is a constantly evolving entity. Fortunately there's a whole team of editors just like you who can help.
You can't break Wikipedia, but in case you're still nervous here are some pages that you might find helpful, especially the first one which covers the main things to remember about using Visual Editor.

The University of Edinburgh are also looking into running lots more edit-a-thons over the course of the residency – details are still to be confirmed but will be updated on my project page here: Wikipedia:University_of_Edinburgh
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!
