Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, JayArgh33! Thank you for your contributions. I am Swarm and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{helpme}}
at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

First thing's first
[edit]Okay, I'll be happy to mentor you. Let me get some things out of the way up front.
First, remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing ~~~~ at the end of your messages. Second, you mentioned that you were trying to "help" (his campaign). In this case, there's several very important points that you need to keep in mind:
- Wikipedia should not be used as a means of promotion
- Conflict of interest editing is highly discouraged
- Articles must be written from a neutral point of view
That said, looking at the article, I don't see any problems with bias at all, so I'm sure you can and will continue to write neutrally. Once I get a chance, I'll look through your article in detail and leave some comments on the talk page. Based on my quick scan though, it's a great job for a first article! Any other questions for now? Swarm 23:30, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
