Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Jaw959! I am Abce2 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Welcome fellow vandal fighter. Here's a tip, look into Twinkle.--Abce2|AccessDenied 21:15, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Thermal energy has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. - No problem. I didn't add that sentence, I was just cleaning it up from the guy before me to fix the grammar (I wasn't sure if it should be included or not, so I didn't want to remove it). Joe (talk) 22:59, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
To our newest Rollbacker
[edit]I have just granted you rollback rights because I believe you to be trustworthy, and because you have a history of reverting vandalism and giving appropriate warnings. Please have a read over WP:ROLLBACK and remember that rollback is only for use against obvious vandalism. Please use it that way (it can be taken away by any admin at a moment's notice). You may want to consider adding {{Rollback}} and {{User rollback}} to your userpage. Any questions, please drop me a line. Best of luck and thanks for volunteering! :-) wadester16 00:51, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks

[edit]I just received a message from you regarding an edit to the aforementioned article. I was wondering what this edit entailed, as I don't remember writing it. Thanks Adam — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.155.213.24 (talk) 23:34, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited United States Senate election in Minnesota, 2012, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Stephen Williams and Craw (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 16:06, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
Fixed. Thank you bot! Joe (talk) 16:08, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Joanna Liszowska discography
[edit]That wasn't a test. Surely a "TBA" album scheduled to be released in 2008 at least needs some update. The polish wikipedia has one recording after the first album: a guest appearance on one track in some other singer's album in 2009. 85.217.45.11 (talk) 19:10, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
Responded on your talk page. Joe (Jaw959) (talk) 19:12, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
- Where did that come from? I only deleted one line: * 2008: TBA. 82.141.72.69 (talk) 19:34, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
- Look at the edit - it both removes that line and adds what looks like a mistake line a few lines up. That is what I was targetting when I rolled the edit back. I've removed both lines, so I think this should be as you intended now. If I'm not getting it, feel free to make additional changes as needed :) Joe (Jaw959) (talk) 22:16, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I noticed that. But I didn't add that "mistake" line there. The only thing I added was the edit summary. 85.217.41.169 (talk) 05:44, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
