not Vandalism
You reverted my post on aspen woods as vandalism, I understand, but it is actually correct that the page is out of date and the new Alderman of ward 6 is Joe Conelly. Even look it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.153.246.139 (talk) 00:43, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Then what you need to do is find a new reference for your information and add it after your inclusion. You can not change information and leave the old outdated reference. Please see WP:CITE and WP:VERIFIABILITY. Hope these help. Just source your information correctly and you should be ok.--JavierMC 00:48, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
broccoli
I am asian and my broccoli that i buy is yellow and i googled it and it is high in vitamain k. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.183.226.233 (talk) 23:12, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Very well but it really adds nothing to the article, but if you would like to add it, then provide a WP:CITE that meets wikipedias WP:VERIFIABILITY and add it. Additions should be cited in the article and since you found it on google search, you should be able to properly add that source. Cheers.-JavierMC 23:16, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Thank You
Hello JavierMC (talk · contribs), I am the creater of the Stones (rapper) article and I just stopped by to thank you for the edits you made to help improve the article. I'm fairly new to the site and that is my first post so I'm trying to bring it up to code and I would like it if you stopped by more often to help me do so. Have a wonderful day, peace (HipHopDoc (talk) 16:56, 9 October 2008 (UTC))
ok?
Listen I don't know what made you think that I deleted the refrences on 728th Military Police Battalion but I didn't. First of all I created that file and am the owner of all the pictures... Why would I delete my own work or vandalise it to allow a chance for it to be deleted? So do your research!!! Bmoc2012tms (talk) 19:52, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
ps. I put this on your page just so you saw it :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bmoc2012tms (talk • contribs) 19:53, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- 728th Military Police Battalion (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Perhaps you need to look at THIS edit you made. You did infact delete the section header for the references section. My comment was to ask why you removed the section [header], not that you removed references. You might want to take a look at this section on reference layout. Also, please sign messages you leave on talkpages by leaving ~~~~ after your message. One other thing, please do not make comments ending with several exclamation marks as it appears uncivil. There were no references that I needed to check, since my comment was to ask why you removed the section, not the references. Thanks. --JavierMC 20:15, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

What was unconstructive about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Jackson?diff=242193040 - it was just reverting some vandalism. Ewx (talk) 07:48, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Your edit was reverted when I looked for the last clean edit to revert consistent vandalism on the article. It was part of the revert because the edit was made without an edit summary explaining the removal of the material. Huggle, the vandal patrolling software I use, sent the notice to your talk as part of that revert. It's important to use edit summaries to briefly explain what your edit was for, that way editors have some idea of what was meant when viewing the article history, especially when removing what appeared to be cited information. If you look at the history of the article on the day of the revert, you will see consistent vandalism and see that the page was semi-protected as a result. Your recent removal of the same material now has an edit summary explaining the removal, which would have more than likely prevented the previous revert of your edit, had it been there to explain the removal.--JavierMC 19:08, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

English Wikipedia Internal Account Creation Interface
I have submitted a request for account creation.--JavierMC 00:13, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for applying to access the account creation tool. I have approved your request. You may now access the tool here. Before you do so, please read the tool's guide to familiarize yourself with the process. You may also want to join #wikipedia-en-accounts on irc and the mailing list. Keep in mind that the ACC tool is a powerful program, and misuse may result in your access being suspended by a tool administrator. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions. Thank you for participating in the account creation process. — Possum (talk) 06:10, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
To answer your question directly, and only from my perspective: it was because I hadn't read the section you referenced. I had come across User:Wacek40 so I dealt with it, and posted to ANI to ensure other eyes either validated or corrected my action. Toddst1 (talk) 22:29, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- I was just wondering if maybe there was something different in admin criteria that was found on the account you handled as opposed to the one I reported. My ultimate concern was addressed. I still wish there were some policy in effect so there would not be such a disparity between admin responses to these type of problems. I think it would protect all concerned. Thanks for answering my question, I salute your actions on these type of concerns.--JavierMC 22:45, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
account creation overturn
JavierMC, Just to let you know, I reset the request that you denied for user to create an acct with name "Cindy.davis" Even though it's very similar to existing user "Cindy Davis", it's still okay, because "Cindy Davis" was created 2 years ago and has zero edits. Main Page redesign
The Main Page Redesign proposal is currently conducting a straw poll to select five new designs, before an RFC in which one will be proposed to replace the Main Page. The poll closes on October 31st. Your input would be hugely appreciated! Many thanks, PretzelsTalk! 10:30, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
