Hi Javed1972, just looking at your submitted article on the Eastern Yamuna Canal. There are some errors:

  1. The Eastern canal was first built by the Mughals in the 18th century, and abandoned. The Tughlaqs built the Western canal.
  2. Some Rohilla chiefs attempted to restore the canal to bring water to Saharanpur, but its slope and masonry was faulty and it failed.
  3. The British rebuilt it in 1830 and introduced a head and regulator in 1875-79 as an attachment to the Western canal at Tajewala.
  4. Proby Cautley was only an assistant to Robert Smith who was in charge of the construction of the Eastern canal
  5. Ali Mardan Khan was not involved in this canal - rather, he defrauded the Mughals when he offered to build a canal to Lahore (see your Tribune link)
  6. The length of the canal is 207.561km, capacity 84.95 cubic metres per second.

See the following references:

  1. Hydrology and Water Resources of India, by Sharad K Jain et al)
  2. The Calcutta Review, Vol. XII. July - December, 1849. Art. III. Canals of Irrigation in the N. W. Provinces ; Notes on the North Western Provinces of India by Charles Raikes.

Hope this helps.

.

Javed, please see the above comments. Also, you cannot cite Wikipedia on Wikipedia, so all of your footnotes to WP articles need to turn into WP:Wikilinks instead. Also, your other sources don't necessarily appear to be WP:Reliable sources.
However, the good news is that a basic search of GoogleBooks turns up a bunch of references for Eastern Yamuna Canal. Try searching there under the various spellings, and when you find a good source, you can plug the URL of that gBooks page into http://reftag.appspot.com and it will automatically turn into a footnote you can cut-paste into Wikipedia.
Don't give up hope! Yours is a very good idea for an article, it just needs to have the references done right and it'll be ready to go. If you have questions, come talk to the volunteer mentors at the Teahouse:
