[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Pop music, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See MOS:OVERLINK. Generally we do not link country names. CodeTalker (talk) 21:00, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Artist. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please read MOS:OVERLINK. CodeTalker (talk) 01:45, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Jassbianchi
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Jassbianchi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - Dear Code Talker,
- I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jass Bianchi, and I recently noticed that the Wikipedia page I created, User:Jassbianchi, has been tagged for speedy deletion under section G11.
- I appreciate your dedication to upholding Wikipedia's standards and guidelines. I have carefully reviewed the deletion notice and would like to address any concerns you may have regarding the content and formatting of the page.
- I am committed to ensuring that the content aligns with Wikipedia's policies, and I have made revisions accordingly. Could you kindly provide specific feedback or guidance on the aspects that need further improvement? I am eager to make the necessary adjustments to meet Wikipedia's standards.
- If there are particular sections or elements that require attention, please let me know, and I will promptly address them. I value the collaborative nature of Wikipedia editing and am open to any suggestions you may have.
- Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your guidance on how I can improve the page to meet Wikipedia's guidelines.
- Best regards,

- Hi! Thank you for the reply. The page has already been deleted by administrator Seraphimblade so I can no longer see it, so anything I say now is based on my memory of what the page looked like yesterday. The guideline for user page content is WP:USERPAGE. If you read that, it may answer most of your questions. In summary, the main use of your user page is to explain a little about yourself as a Wikipedia editor. It may explain your interests and areas of expertise, what kind of work you plan to do or have done on Wikipedia, disclosures about any conflicts of interest you may have with Wikipedia articles you have edited, etc. Two things that you are not allowed to have on your user page are things that look like Wikipedia articles, and advertising or promotional content. Your user page violated both of these latter two items, which Seraphimblade noted in his deletion notice here. Based on your user name, it seems that you were trying to write an article about yourself. This is permissible but strongly discouraged; see WP:AUTO. If you were to try to create such an article, you should draft it in draft space, not on your user page, and most importantly, it would have to comply with our notability and verification policies; that is, it must be based on what reliable sources have previously published about you, not on your own personal knowledge.Wikipedia has a large number of policies and guidelines, some of which can be confusing or counterintuitive to new users. It certainly took me many months of editing before I felt I had a reasonable understanding of them. If you do wish to continue editing Wikipedia in a general way, I recommend that you start by reading WP:HOW and spend some time making small changes to get a feel of how it works. If your main goal is to get an article about yourself published, I would discourage that, but if you really do want to proceed, your first step should be to collect some reliable sources that have published content about you that can be used as the basis for an article. You must also disclose your conflict of interest in writing such an article about yourself as explained at WP:COI.Thanks again for communicating, and I hope this helped. - Thank you for your detailed explanation and guidance regarding the deletion of the Wikipedia page User:Jassbianchi. I appreciate your efforts to clarify the specific issues and provide insights into the user page guidelines outlined in WP:USERPAGE.
- I understand now that the content on my user page violated guidelines related to content resembling Wikipedia articles and promotional material. I appreciate your patience in explaining these aspects.
- Given your recommendation, I will refrain from creating an article about myself and instead focus on contributing to Wikipedia in a more general manner. I will familiarize myself with WP:HOW and start making small changes to better understand the editing process.
- Thank you for taking the time to communicate and offer guidance. I value the opportunity to learn and contribute positively to the Wikipedia community. If there are any specific resources or guidelines you recommend for new users, I would be grateful for your suggestions.
- Best regards,

- Thank you for your understanding and willingness to understand and abide by Wikipedia policies. It is unfortunately common that new editors come here with the intention of promoting themselves or an organization that they are involved with, and become hostile when informed that our policies prohibit such activity. It is refreshing to encounter someone who is willing to accept our policies. Happy editing! CodeTalker (talk) 21:37, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

Use of ChatGPT
[edit]Hello, welcome to Wikipedia. Did you use ChatGPT or another language model to author any of the above responses? That is strongly discouraged and at bare minimum you should tell people you are using it to generate messages, so they are not duped into thinking you have taken the effort to draft the response. See WP:LLMCIR. (ping for interest: @CodeTalker:) Local Variable (talk) 17:21, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
