I'm want to revert an article I saw some vandalism on, but I can't work out how. Can someone show me what buttons I need to push? Thanks. -Jasonb 18:05, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

the easiest way is to go on the history, select the last version before the article was vandalized, click edit, ignore the warning saying that if you change some data will be lost and save it. Don't forget to explain what you did on the summary. Happy editing! :)
PS: 2 articles that are worth reading on this subject: Wikipedia:Vandalism and Wikipedia:Cleaning up vandalism

How would I go about requesting that the Daylight saving time page be semiprotected because of the stupid vandalism today? - Jasonb 07:50, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Time zone map

[edit]

Hi Jasonb, Sorry I took a while to get back to you, but I have updated the time zone map as requested! I have uploaded it under a new name, and left the old one, in case the old map needs to be used in an article for historical reasons. Regards, Chuq 05:22, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:AOTA.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:AOTA.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:57, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
