Possible TC impacts
[edit]- Tropical Cyclone Innis 1992 passed to the north of Fiji in the developing stages.Jason Rees (talk) 10:17, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
- Tropical Cyclone 18P 1994-95 was first noted about 250 km (155 mi) to the north of Nadi, Fiji but I haven't found any impacts attributed to the system. Fiji Floods tells us that heavy rain and flooding were reported in Labasa and Nadi, while over 250 tonnes of canne were destroyed but this is attributed to a trough of low pressure.Jason Rees (talk) 10:21, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
- Tropical Depression 1996-97 - Fiji floods mentions that a tropical depression existed to the northeast of Fiji on February 18 and moved southwestwards, it also mentions that a trough caused heavy rain and squally thunderstorms over Fiji.Jason Rees (talk) 11:19, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
- Cyclone Hina 1997 - I strongly suspect that Hina indirectly impacted Fiji.Jason Rees (talk) 11:37, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
- Mona 2000 - possibly had an impact on Fiji's Lau Islands.Jason Rees (talk) 14:23, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Sose 2001 - Apparently caused swells in Tonga & Samoa despite being near Vanuatu/New Caledonia.Jason Rees (talk) 15:06, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Heta 2003-04 - The FICS for January 2004 notes that heavy swell and strong wind warnings were issued for Fiji as Heta moved southwards.Jason Rees (talk) 16:50, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
