Speedy deletion nomination of Luboh

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Luboh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 21:24, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Luboh, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 21:38, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Luboh

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Luboh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Price comparison service. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 19:25, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Jim1138 (talk) 19:38, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Social commerce has been reverted.
Your edit here to Social commerce was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://kempton.wordpress.com/2011/10/16/luboh-helps-users-share-their-buying-experiences/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:54, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Please see this page for more information on Wikipedia's notability policy. Please do not post messages like you did with this edit into the text of the article itself, as it is disruptive editing and that is what the talk page is for. Thank you, RA0808 talkcontribs 20:08, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Social commerce are becoming increasingly nonconstructive, these sites are notable as they meet the criteria for notablility. If you have an issue with that list please discuss it on the talk page so that editors can reach consensus. RA0808 talkcontribs 20:39, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain
"these sites are notable as they meet the criteria for notablility "
the behavior is contradictory to your rules.
There is an important difference between external links and internal Wikipedia links. Internal links lead to existing Wikipedia articles. Websites or services must be notable according to Wikipedia's definition of notability in order to have a Wikipedia article; since the sites/services in the list all have articles which are referenced in third-party sources, they meet the criteria for notability. The list should not have any external links (not even to obviously notable sites such as Facebook). It is, however, perfectly consistent with Wikipedia's guidelines to have the internal links there. Hope this helps. --bonadea contributions talk 22:16, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Social commerce, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.

As requested above, please start a discussion on the article's talk page if you believe that the list of sites does not belong in the article. If you have issues with the notability of any of the individial sites in the list, you can nominate it for deletion but you will need to be familiar with the guidelines concerning notability for websites first.

Please also read the policy concerning editing with a conflict of interest. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 08:59, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
