Possible multiple accounts and COI

[edit]

Further to your recent post at the Teahouse, I noticed there seems to be a quite a lot of overlap between your edits and that of User:Sukh.editor. It might be coincidence, but you should know that we do not allow one person to operate two accounts at the same time here, especially if they are both solely promoting the same narrow topic - namely, a book deemed and deleted as non-notable which was published just a couple of weeks before your first ever edits here. We call these accounts WP:SOCKPUPPETS and they are liable to be investigated and possibly blocked from editing. I do want to assume good faith, but if these two accounts are related, and you've simply forgotten the login password for the first account, you really should make a declaration of the two accounts being created by the same person and of your conflict of interest in editing to promote that book/author. Even if you refind the other login password, you should not use it again, as this would now be your active account.

Of course, if they're not related, then be aware that POV-pushing and promotion on very narrow topics may still lead to further questions and investigations if both accounts are seen to be operating at the same time on the same narrow subject. And any conflict of interest (friend of the author etc) should still be declared per WP:COI. This isn't intended to scare or intimidate you - just to appraise you of how we operate. You might wish to indicate below whether or not these two accounts are or are not related, so as to avoid future confusion. Kind regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 21:45, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am using this account only. I have just written the first article and submitted for review with good reference. The account sukh.editor is my account being used on Wikipedia.Sukh.editor (talk) 21:52, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
