[edit]Hello, I'm Ts12rAc. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Crushed Butler, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ts12rActalk to me 07:07, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
Yes I have previously added around five or so different sources when I had previously edited the Crushed Butler article. This last edit I did not add source as I assumed my previous multiple sourcing had covered the new material. The edit was very minor and I had thought my previous sourcing which included the source for new edit would cover. I apologize for any mistakes I made with not providing sourcing. It’s been awhile since I have edited on a regular basis again. The article for the band “Pure Rubbish” I created that article from scratch a decade ago or so as it was my band. Anyways, I am friends with all the major players (that are still alive) regarding the Crushed Butler story. This band is important from a historical perspective as this group was (very likely) the first British proto punk band in existence. Not only in my personal research but also sourced in music books on British punk as well.
Right now I am working from detailed liner notes from the 4 separate different pressings of Crushed Butler “Uncrushed” retrospective album which all contain several pages of liner notes that were updated from the years 1998, 2005, 2009, 2017. As well as the Jesse Hector “Gorilla Garage” compilation album that covers his career from 1959-1994. I also am working with multiple sources online that are more recent than 2017.
Thank you for all your help and please let me know if I am editing correctly in future edit posts. As for the last post, I will try to make that brief edit again but this time making sure I have put the correct source to backup what I am detailing and putting in writing on Wikipedia as I strive to keep my edits as accurate as possible. When I see incorrect information posted on Wikipedia it truly bothers my anal obsessive side of my personality and I do from time to time edit on different pages. Mostly in the field of music, bands, band histories and biographies, timelines, etc. as after 41 years this is my main area of expertise. I am a real sticker for accurate dates, times, etc.
Again thank you Ts12Ac.

Disambiguation link notification for September 14
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Crushed Butler, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Converse. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Capitalizing genres
[edit]Please stop capitalizing the genres in lists - as per Template:Infobox musical artist/doc#genre "Most genres are not proper nouns and should not be capitalized. However, the first word in a list of multiple genres should be capitalized." - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 22:17, 4 May 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Speed, Glue & Shinki, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 18:37, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Speed Glue and Shinki some of this info is incorrect that is why I edited the page to make it as accurate as possible. I can cite examples of what is incorrect with direct sources. Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:10, 9 October 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at MC5, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 22:05, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Shady Lady.
Disambiguation pages are an index of existing articles of that name, not the place to add non-notable names without their own article - Arjayay (talk) 15:47, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
I don’t understand? Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:03, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
Everything I contributed on MC5 page was factual information backed up by research. I never post anything that cannot be backed up by direct sourcing. Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:04, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
As far as Shady Lady I don’t understand the term “vandalize” ?? What does the context mean regarding this issue?
I noticed that bands that did not have their own Wikipedia page were added so I assumed it was ok to add proper bands that went under glam rock genre to the list of glam rock artists. For example I noticed recently that someone contributed the band “Edy Star” which is a recent add and this band does not have a separate Wikipedia page. Thank Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:07, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
I read the vandalize page but I am so confused as to how I vandalized the page? I would never intentionally delete accurate information. Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:12, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
My biggest issue is I need to learn coding for how to add sources in the text itself so that I may not these issues in the future. Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:14, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
I see you have also added many 1960’s / 1970’s British bands such as Sam Apple Pie, Help Yourself, etc
I myself am a music expert of several genres of music but my biggest expertise is on 1960s -1980s multiple genres. However, I lack the know how of Wikipedia coding but every time I edit a page and it says “why did you edit this page?” I always explain the reason in specifics and paste a direct source from the internet.
If I need to do more I am very open to learn what else I need to learn about sourcing in the text itself because I am on Wikipedia on a daily basis and I run across so much inaccurate information. I am not referring to adding a subjective agenda either. Everything I write I strive to be as objective and merely state the historical facts - times, dates, etc.
For example I have edited so many bands where the year of formation was incorrect and I didn’t attempt to edit the wiki page until I had multiple sources that I could copy from the internet on the correct band formation year. From other reputable websites such as all music, Discogs, rateyourmusic, the bands own website, etc Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:24, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
Please respond when you are available. Thank you!! Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:25, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
The Shady Lady addition I added to “list of glam rock bands” I am so confused why this band cannot be added? Did I make a mistake with the coding when I added the correct source?
Zolar X band is listed and Shady Lady Drummer is Zolar X lead vocalist. In fact Zolar X formed out of the ashes of Shady Lady so it would appear to me that if Zolar X is already included then Shady Lady would be ok to include as well??
And even though Shadi Lady band does not have a separate Wikipedia page - I noticed that “Edy Star” also does not have a separate Wikipedia page however this and was allowed to be added to the glam rock List with a link to a direct source.
Please explain so I can avoid this kind of mistake in the future. Thank you!! Jarrett Gardner (talk) 21:36, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
