Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:TWDNow Productions
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:TWDNow Productions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:
Your reason here I am fairly new to Wikipedia and want to be a faithful contributor. I apologize for any mistakes I have made and I continue to correct those mistakes. I am so grateful for all the wonderful help I've received from Wikipedia. I do not want to post on Wikipedia for promotional purposes. I do not have any personal connections to any of my pending contributions on Wikipedia. I am testing out how to properly contribute by having my first contributions be about Dead Talk Live who I am a viewer of and of its host John Vizaniaris. I worded my new article submissions so as to not appear as promotional, because they are not, but informational for the entire Wikipedia community. I kindly ask to please lift my restriction from contributing and bear with me as I am spenind a lot of time learning to be a faithful contributor to Wikipedia
Decline reason:
I think that it is possible for you to be unblocked, but in my opinion you haven't yet demonstrated that you understand Wikipedia is not for merely providing information and as such you are likely to make edits similar to your prior ones in the future. It may help to know which other articles you would like to edit. I am declining your request, when you make another, it will be reviewed by someone else. 331dot (talk) 08:33, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
There isn't much of a difference between "promotional" and "informational" on Wikipedia. Merely getting the word out about something, or merely providing information, is considered promotional here. Wikipedia is not for merely providing information. It provides information to tell you that Walmart has a sale on televisions, but we don't post sale flyers here. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a subject, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability. The sources you provided had information about the guests, but not the show itself. I'm also wondering if you are in communication with John Vizaniaris about your work, given the information you wrote about. Are there other topics that you want to edit about? 331dot (talk) 00:39, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
331dot, thank you for your input. I am still learning how to respond to these messages and I hope this reaches you :). I am not in communication with John Vizaniaris short of watching the show. I have seen articles on Wikipedia involving subjects of far less notability than the ones I am trying to create articles for. I have submitted articles references from around the globe that mention the interviews that have been done on Dead Talk Live. These are independent sources, worldwide, that have written about the interviews specifically done on Dead Talk Live. As far as an independent article explaining what Dead Talk Live is about, besides IMDb, there is no such article nor do I expect one ever to be (I have never seen such an article for any talk show) as the show is just a popular live stream talk show that interviews celebrities as well as discuss varying horror topics. IMDb goes through its own vetting process and I do know that show is listed on IMDb. I do not know if the creator had a hard time getting listed on IMDb but at the end of day that is the most notable independent source of a show of this type. I mean no deceptions nor have I provided any false information. I really do believe that this show with its large fan base is absolutely worthy of an article on IMDb Jarianz99 (talk) 01:00, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
331dot I forgot to mention in my last response, that blocking me as a user is really not appropriate in my opinion. As I have stated I have not provided any false references, information, or anything close to the sorts. I kindly ask that the block on my user account be lifted. Also to add to my above response. The term "Notable" is very subjective. The world has changed so much in the last year. I truly believe that different entertainment sources such as Video on Demand and especially streaming shows such as Dead Talk Live are going to be a big part of the entertainment future moving forward. I don't see CNN writing an article about Dead Talk Live any time soon :). I kindly ask that the block imposed on my user account be lifted. I truly appreciate the conversation we are able to have. Jarianz99 (talk) 01:36, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- You only need one open request; subsequent comment should be standard, unformatted comments. Please see other stuff exists. As this is a volunteer project where people do what they can when they can, it is possible for inappropriate content to go undetected, even for years. We can only address what we know about. Once unblocked, if you'd care to share some of these other articles you mention that have less notability, we can address them, as we could use the help. Standards can also change over time in that what was once acceptable may not be any longer. Other inappropriate content existing does not mean yours can too.
- I don't see where someone said you were being deceptive or telling lies; I don't believe anyone thinks that. That's not the issue. You have sources written about the interviews, but not about the show itself. If this does not exist, the show (and/or its host) would not merit a Wikipedia article. IMDB is a user-editable website and as such is not considered a reliable source(just as Wikipedia is not) It is true that in general the word "notable" is subjective, but Wikipedia's general definition of notability is written at this page, and more specifically the definition of notable web content is here. Wikipedia is not a place to anticipate what might be notable in the future; things must already be notable and be written about as such to merit an article here. If you just want to tell the world about this streaming show, there may be alternative forums with less stringent requirments where you can do that; it seems that it does not currently merit a Wikipedia article. Are there any other topics that you want to edit about? 331dot (talk) 08:06, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
Yes, once unblocked there are other articles that I would like to contribute to and I do understand your point. I would very much appreciate being unblocked. I see that the submission for "Dead Talk Live" has not been marked as it's being deleted and it does state that is waiting still for review. I would like for it to go through the review process and I will continue to search for more sources that mention the show itself. But the Wikipedia submission for Dead Talk Live is not an advertisement but rather an informative piece on what the show is, its history, format, host, platform, and notable guests for those wishing more information which is what I believe Wikipedia is for. With that in mind I do believe it deserves a small place on Wikipedia. I thank you and all your fellow volunteers for the work that you do to keep Wikipedia's Integrity intact. I have learned where I made mistakes and wish to become an active contributor to Wikipedia. I kindly ask to be unblocked. I am still learning my way around Wikipedia and appreciate your patience and guidance. Jarianz99 (talk) 23:40, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
The primary reason for the request seems to be a strong interest in continuing to make the type of contributions that led to two blocks already. A more reasonable approach would be clearly agreeing not to edit about this topic anymore, agreeing to a topic ban from Dead Talk Live as a binding unblock condition and providing specific examples for edits that actually improve the encyclopedia and are unrelated to the topic – ideally unrelated to TV at large. These examples could prove that the block currently prevents helpful contributions. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:53, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

- Jarianz99, but by making which kind of edits? Any ideas? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 06:34, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
~ ToBeFree Mostly in the Entertainment Industry because I have a few contacts within the industry Jarianz99 (talk) 06:56, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
- I appreciate the honesty, but that's an instant "no" from me. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 07:37, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
~ ToBeFree You asked a very general question to which I gave you a general answer. All I can do is be honest. Will I try to contribute to Entertainment related articles I don't know. The truth is I don't have a shopping list of what I want to edit. If I come across something that needs contribution, I will attempt to contribute. That's all I can do! I am not going to sacrifice my principles and answer dishonestly to get my account unblocked. We all know I can create a new account at any moment and this has been an experience for me learning how harsh the Wikipedia administrators are and how you guys come up with standards that when asked to elaborate on.... You Cannot! I am using this as a learning experience in regards to Wikipedia and how there is no uniform standard of operation. You say there is and you have guidelines available but at the end of the day every single admin has their own way of interpreting them. It's a fascinating learning experience. My first block was because of my username Before I even attempted to edit anything. If you read back my username wasn't offensive in any way whatsoever but I was blocked within hours of account creation for my username being deadtalklive. Like I said, I am fascinated by the disorderly hypocrisy at Wikipedia. As a Writer, it's very fascinating. Jarianz99 (talk) 07:53, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
~ ToBeFree And since you do appreciate my honesty I will continue to be honest and state that your response being "An Instant No" to the Entertainment Industry displayed very clearly discrimination AGAINST the Entertainment Industry. That is further proved by Wikipedia's unwillingness to accept a very popular live stream show with hundreds of thousands of followers on it's site. I am logging your guy's responses because as I mentioned, as a writer, I am fascinated with your boldness and bias. Jarianz99 (talk) 08:07, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
~ ToBeFree And finally, whether this account gets unblocked or not is up to you guys. My attention is on whether Dead Talk Live goes through the review process which several administrators such as 331dot and eyebeller have tried to squash for "notability" issues. Even though I have cited references from publications around the world. When questioned about what the standards for "Notabliity" are I was never given any clear guidelines. If being mentioned in articles across the globe, having nearly a half a million followers and a constant flow of celebrity guests on a show does not count towards "Notability" then there is something really shady going on at Wikipedia. I will keep my promise to not further contribute to Dead Talk live. I am a man of my word and I have been honest with every comment and reply I have given Wikipedia. Your comments which show a complete bias to the Entertainment Industry as well as the other Wikipedia Admins that I just mentioned have all been screenshot and documented and show nothing more than discrimination. I have distributed the Draft Link to Dead Talk Live to several of the show's followers and they will soon be adding their contributions to the show on Wikipedia and they will share the link with other followers. I have also shared this with my contacts in the Entertainment Industry to which you Loathe and they will be adding their contributions. So whether my account gets reinstated or not is irrelevant at this point. We are all keeping an eye on whether Dead Talk Live passes the review process and gets accepted as it should or it gets denied. If it gets denied with all the citations that follow Wikipedia guidelines well then, we've got a story. Jarianz99 (talk) 08:58, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
~ ToBeFree Wow, you just mentioned me on someone else's talk page? Keep it coming guys. I wanna see how far you will dig yourselves in. Seriously though, against an entity like Wikipedia, this great stuff. Keep it coming. That link has been shared and reshared by a lot of people by now. Just please make sure to keep mentioning me or else I won't see it. You are attacking that guy's page??? Jarianz99 (talk) 09:25, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
- You're referring to my message at User talk:Johnviz. Regarding the other messages, it is clear that any attempts to explain the concept "conflict of interest" have failed and will fail, now resulting in threats of meatpuppetry. I think it's safe to revoke talk page access at this point. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 09:28, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
I have merged your requests, you only need one open request at a time. 331dot (talk) 00:53, 19 January 2021 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
