Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Benny sings.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Benny Sings.jpg. The copy called Image:Benny Sings.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. AfD nomination of Benny Sings

[edit]

An editor has nominated Benny Sings, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Benny Sings and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 19:44, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Teengirl Fantasy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Eeekster (talk) 23:23, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Logo real small square 1.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Non-free rationale for File:PrisonerReentryNetworkLogoSmall.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:PrisonerReentryNetworkLogoSmall.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:36, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:PrisonerReentryNetworkLogoSmall.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:PrisonerReentryNetworkLogoSmall.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:23, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Conflict of Interest Disclosure

[edit]

Hello. I would like to find a resolution to our dispute documented on Talk:Jeff Adachi. Pursuant to the Wikipedia guidelines on reporting conflicts of interest and dispute resolution, I am reaching out to request that you disclose your previously stated conflict of interest with regard to the following articles:

San Francisco Public Defender's Office

Jeff Adachi

Steps for disclosing a conflict of interest are outlined in the Conflict of Interest Guide as well as in the Plain and Simple Conflict of Interest Guide and include placing a notice on your userpage as well as the pages of conflicted articles that you have contributed to. I believe adhering to the Wikipedia guidelines on Conflict-of-interest editing on Wikipedia will go a long way toward resolving the issues on those pages. DKSwims (talk) 17:24, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for declaring. I have added the connected contributor template to Talk:Jeff Adachi to ensure the connection is properly declared according to Wikipedia:CoI policies. I think this is a good first step to resolving this content dispute. We can continue discussing the issues here or perhaps more appropriately on the Talk:Jeff Adachi page. Conflict of Interest Disclosure

[edit]

I'm an attorney at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office. I have never edited that page.

I edited the Jeff Adachi page, specifically the section "Death." Adachi was the elected head of the office of approximately 100 attorneys, and I was one of them. The initial "Death" entry included salacious details unrelated to the cause of his death, which I removed for brevity and respect for his family. The "Death" entry was incomplete, as it did not include subsequent reporting where four medical professionals challenged the initial cause of death. I included that reporting. I also included information related to ongoing litigation regarding the mishandling of the autopsy.
