A tag has been placed on ABLV Bank, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. wintonian talk edits 07:07, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:ABLV LOGO-color-on-ABdark.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:ABLV LOGO-color-on-ABdark.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Speedy deletion nomination of ABLV Charitable Foundation
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on ABLV Charitable Foundation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from www.ablv.org/en/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Wikipedia is not for writing about your company
[edit]Wikipedia is not a place for people to write about their companies. It is a different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles, and writing about one's company is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia and conflicts of interest. The links in the Welcome message at the top of this page will tell you more about Wikipedia.
There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Harry Let us have speaks 13:19, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- I have to second this. I also have to make sure that you're aware that Wikipedia entries MUST be neutrally written and at no point should it be seen as an extension of your website. This means that it is extremely and I repeat EXTREMELY inappropriate for you to try to create a Wikipedia article that is identical to your organization's website. I'm also not sure that your organization passes notability guidelines as a whole per WP:NORG. I tried searching for the organization's name and didn't see where it has received coverage in independent and reliable sources per WP:RS. There are WP:PRIMARY links (things released by the organization or people/places/things/etc affiliated with them) but not really anything else other than brief mentions. It's extremely difficult for companies to meet notability guidelines, as routine coverage isn't considered to be the type that would give notability. I have no problem with you creating an article at WP:AfC, but I would strongly recommend that you just wait for someone to create the article because I feel that your conflict of interest is too strong in this case, since you have a very specific idea of what you want in the page and that idea is extremely promotional by Wikipedia's guidelines.
