Hello, Jani5829. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page, and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

  Perform maintenance tasks
Become a member of a project that interests you

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Speedy deletion nomination of Aholanvaara

[edit]

Hello Jani5829,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Aholanvaara for deletion, because it doesn't seem to have any encyclopedic content.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Welcome!

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of weather records, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article.

When you changed the information, you left the sources that supported the existing info, but did not provide any new sources. I will remove the Finnish heat record (which I can't find any mention of anywhere - that kind of record would presumably have been reported in the news, if it was confirmed) from other articles you have added it to, as well. Please provide reliable sources for the claim - then it can be restored. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 09:08, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to List of weather records. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

http://ilmatieteenlaitos.fi/ilmasto gives the highest temperature yesterday as 25.9°C in Rovaniemi. Until they confirm the heat record in Aholanvaara, please do not add it to any Wikipedia articles. bonadea contributions talk 11:23, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
