Re. User:Janetfix/John Emil Halver, Ph. D.

Further to your question - I keep getting a message that my article has missing end reference tags, & I need ((reflist)) at the end. - the references go at the end, and I moved them - as I said there.

I also made some other edits, to help with the formatting - I didn't remove or change any content; I just changed some of the layout code. For example, don't start a line with a space,

otherwise it looks like this

and, use * at the start of lines to make a list, e.g. putting;

*Something
*Foo
*Baa

...makes...

  • Something
  • Foo
  • Baa

For help with that, see WP:CHEATSHEET.

You'd have to make a lot more changes to make it an acceptable article though. It'd have to be neutral, and everything would need a reference to a reliable source (like a book, or newspaper article). Please look at WP:RESUME, WP:AUTO and WP:BLP.

I suggest you try editing some other articles, at first, to get the hang of things.

If you do need help, just put {{helpme}} right here, followed by a question. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  09:08, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your input. I see now where the ~ and { are on my keyboard.

I do not understand what you mean by making the article neutral. I only listed actual facts, nothing that is my own opinion. Dr. Halver is a very well known nutritional biochemist who has made discoveries. Also, I need help to understand the instructions for getting the "page moved". I read the instructions and they look like English, but they do not make sense to me.Janetfix (talk) 08:18, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view for help on making an article neutral, make sure you provide references for all the claims you make in the article to make sure they aren't disputed, for example, if you said that the subject was great, you need to back up your claim with a reliable third party source. If you are an autoconfirmed user, you can move a page your self, see Wikipedia:Moving a page for help. However, if the target you want to move the page to already exists, make a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Puffin Let's talk! 11:20, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
