Feedback on your article
[edit]Hello JanPhilipp, Thank you for writing your article in your sandbox! I have read the article and would like to give some feedback to improve your article to Wikipedia standards and customs. I especially will look if it meets the quality standards we have on Wikipedia. I standard look for a series of subjects that need improvement or are okay.
- Intro sentence: What is it? a paper, book, article in magazine, etc... You try to put too much in the first sentence. Try this setup: First sentence: author, date publication, profession of author, nationality of author, what kind of publication. Second sentence: describing the what it is about.
- Links: Much more links please! Please look for keywords in your article and link them to other Wikipedia articles.
- Headers: If "Clairvoyance and Telepathy" is a title of a chapter, it is okay, if not: no need to have a capital T. This also for other headers.
- References: Thank you for adding a reference, but more are needed!
- Context/timeframe: Missing!
- How was the book received: Missing!
I hope you can implement this feedback to your sandbox article before our next meeting. Thanks! Romaine (talk) 10:32, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hello JanPhilipp, Thank you for improving your article! Last week we specifically asked to make sure you add sources/references to your article, because that is one of the most important parts of a Wikipedia article. We also wanted to make sure the intro sentence/section is ready. Let's see how it is going now.
- Intro sentence: Good! Thank you for the improvements, only one detail: please mention also the birth year, otherwise it is not clear: (1844-1929)
- Links: good
- Headers: okay, but please change the
==== ... ====
in=== ... ===
- References: Sufficient independent sources. Good you have added all these references, but please split reference 2 in three separate references. A small detail: add references behind the dot and no space between the dot and the reference. Please add if possible also references in the section "Content" to where certain parts come from in the book, like the chapter or page.
- Context/timeframe: Good start. I would like to see more about how the context was at that time.
- How was the book received: Missing? If you have problems finding sources, ask us for help!
- Other: You use too many capitals in your sentences. Words like Clairvoyance, Telepathy and Hypnotism are usually not written with capitals, but in lower case.
- Keep up the good work! Romaine (talk) 02:46, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
Hello JanPhilipp, I add the images of the book to your sandbox article. Romaine (talk) 05:59, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
July 2017
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:The Sixth Sense, from its old location at User:JanPhilipp/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. » Shadowowl | talk 20:00, 3 July 2017 (UTC)

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.
Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:32, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:The Sixth Sense
