Project Userbox
[edit]I see you add your name to a project task force members' list. These lists mean that you like to contribute to or edit articles within the purview of the project. Some very active projects maintain their lists, and remove names of not so active members, other projects are very casual. These are so members can get in touch with like-minded editors, or so that visitors with a question can contact someone who is especially knowledgeable in the area. Declaring yourself a member means you can add that project's "userbox" to your user page. This helps visitors identify your interests. at a glance. These are very popular among many Wikipedians. You can copy & paste the template for this userbox to your userpage:
This user participates in the American cinema task force. |
According to my userpage, I'm a member of about 14 projects, mostly because I've contributed articles relevant to one or more. I'm really active in maybe four or five of them. Hope this helps! Boneyard90 (talk) 06:46, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up! Yeah I was wondering how to get those templates posted onto my user page. I look forward to contributing further! Jamodalamo (talk) 12:25, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
