Baptists
[edit]Hi James. I am aware that you will easily return the deleted page Primitive Baptist to its prior content. For several reasons I have edited and will continue to edit the Primitive Baptist link. In the future I hope to have more time to dedicate to contributing to the link. In its current form it is extremely historically inaccurate and offensive in some ways to the people who are at the present time named Primitive Baptist. The only thing more innacurate then the history outlined on the link is the way the so calle theology of Primitive Baptists is treated. NOWHERE ever have I encountered, regardless of the geopgraphy or chronology of these people referring to themselves as Calvinistic Baptist. I assume this is just an accidentental mislabe done entirely out of ignorance and miseducation. Primitive Baptists appeared long before the 1800s............... - I'm not the best person to consult for this one - sorry. I just reverted your edits when you removed a lot of content, as it looked to me like vandalism. You might find at WikiProject Christianity somebody who can respond better. In the meantime, though, I don't see what is offensive about that page - it looks OK to me. Regards. ADV Films Info on Dr. Eggman
[edit]I edited the information as I wanted to clear things up that despite the title, the two part OVA, Eggman starred in was not a theatrical release, nor was it ever a theatrical release, as it was a direct to video release, which ADV Films made an error with, I was only trying to point that out.
- OK. Please make sure you source any changes. Many thanks. Jamesx12345 19:01, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Coteau Holmes, LA edit by mouserat123
[edit]You recently removed my edit for the page involving my home village. I would like you to replace it being that it is very real. The village only has a hundred people or so and voting is done by punch card, so there are no citable sources for election or voting records. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mouserat123 (talk • contribs) 18:56, 3 October 2013 (UTC)

Uncle Acid Links
[edit]You stated why you removed my link on the page Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. I was only trying to add another reference (NPR ALL Songs Considered article about the band)and I think it should be there. I don't understand the formatting to make it another reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.41.46.68 (talk) 20:02, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- If that satisfies the criteria for a reliable source, you can cite it using <ref> </ref> tags (see WP:CITE.) However, that site looks more like a personal blog to me, so may not be suitable for use here. Regards. Jamesx12345 20:06, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

- It's actually pretty straightforward - see WP:CITE for how to use the syntax. Just make sure you remain neutral, and you'll be fine. Sorry about reverting your edit - it looked a lot like vandalism, even if it wasn't. Thanks anyway. Jamesx12345 22:12, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

John McCririck info was sourced
[edit]I actually had my sources for my attempted addition to the John McCririck article open in other tabs ready for copy/pasting of the addresses into the correct positions when I accidentally touched the wrong part of my phone's screen and submitted the content before I was ready. Can I try again? 185.26.180.44 (talk) 10:44, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- If you try again, be mindful of the Biographies of living persons policy. Your previous addition was borderline, so I removed it - "flagrant" and "embarrassing" are decidedly non-neutral. However, if you have something that complies with policy, go ahead and add it. Regards. Jamesx12345 11:09, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Haridwar
[edit]Not sure how you attribute to yourself the judge of 'constructive'. Having just spent some time at Haridwar I am amazed the Wikipedia page on this town is so saccharine. If publicising the disgraceful disrespect the Mansa Devi Temple shows towards the hill by spilling it's garbage down the hillside and blatantly, aggressively turning this shrine into a venal commercial operation, is considered 'not constructive', then frankly I don't know what constructive is. I was travelling with some people who were completely revolted by Hinduism by what they say at this temple, and had to try hard to explain (unsuccessfully I expect) this is not really what Hinduism is about. If your 'constructive' means avoiding the truth, then Wikipedia has become a useless site.

- I didn't think your edits adhered to WP:NPOV. They seem intent on casting the temple in a negative light, which is not allowed. If you can find a reliable source for whatever you want to add, by all means do, but otherwise it will be removed again. Regards. Jamesx12345 13:26, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi, Jamesx12345. Although I concur with your analyses I would recommend that you follow the full warning cycle before presenting your case to the vandalism intervention board. Thanks for your help and reports. Tiderolls 21:29, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
- I always go through the full cycle with IPs, but some accounts are simply here to cause disruption. I usually respond to anything especially egregious with a level warning 3 which lets them know how unimpressed I am, but sometimes I just report them to AIV if I know they're going to get blocked anyway. Vandalism-only accounts appear to be a grey area, but most admins are sensible enough to block without much warning to minimise disruption. Thanks again. Jamesx12345 21:37, 6 October 2013 (UTC)

K&N Engineering Page Questions
[edit]Hello James. You recently "undid" an edit I made to this page & I'm wondering why?! In the pages history, I tried to understand why the "Spicer Report" that you have added as a reference would be allowed? My understanding of "reliable sources" on Wikipedia is that they cannot be published on Forums, which is where this report has only ever been published. Royalbroil (who is apparently no longer the editor) agreed, but asked 2 other individuals to weigh in on the situation. The last it was left was that forums are not reliable sources & that the "Spicer Report" should be removed & a [citation needed] tag should be added until a reliable source could be provided. If this is changing I would appreciate some clarification of why. I'm afraid I don't understand how there could be such back & forth on this. I would have thought "No Forum posts as reliable sources" would be very clear. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you. 207.218.14.140 (talk) 16:01, 8 October 2013 (UTC)mgooldrindge

Jamesx12345 20:47, 8 October 2013 (UTC)Thomas Taylor article
[edit]Hi Jemesx12345,
In May you rejected the article I wrote on Thomas Happer Taylor, suggesting that while the subject had potential, the style was too promotional. I resubmitted a much revised version on or about September 24. I can't tell if you've had a chance to review it. Naturally, I hope it now qualifies for publication. But if not, I'd value editorial suggestions for improving it.
Thanks.

i have not only researched over social q&a websites but also explored various health websites and other relaible articles that clearly explain that during the priod of short term abstinence from sexual activity(particularly ejaculation in males) they have a higher urge to have sex.i have been really anxious these days over this issue and was really surprised that wikipedia does not mention this important physical factor that determines your libido. Providing some links that prove my point. http://www.therulesrevisited.com/2011/09/male-sex-drive-always-recharges.html http://www.pegym.com/forums/erectile-dysfunction-forum/22879-what-happens-hormones-if-you-ejaculate-more-then-once-7-days.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ed beerman (talk • contribs) 19:04, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
- The problem is, both of these are forums. Since anybody can say anything on a forum, they can't be considered as reliable sources. If you can find a proper article, or proper medical advice from a recognised body, that would be suitable, but the guidelines are clear. Regards. Jamesx12345 19:07, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12659241 a research report from National Center for Biotechnology Information. Reported that a random group of males had more than 145% of normal testosterone levels on the 7th day of sexual abstinence. now, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libido the wikipedia article stating that testosterone is chiefly responsible for libido. another article(wikipedia) that tells how prolactin, oxytocin and dopamine levels fliuctuate after ejaculation and determine the length of each refractory period. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refractory_period_(sex) and finally .. a wikihow article that in the 6th point tells that men need to release their semen(once a while) which simply states they get sexually overdriven after sometime. http://www.wikihow.com/Practice-Abstinence Sir, in the a very basic question: why has wikipedia not mentioned about the gap between sexual acts and its effect of sexual desire. Please answer. [edit]Hi James the spelling of a name is quite an important aspect of any article for example Jamie is a male name and Jayme is a female name. Is it better to have an incorrect article that you personally know is incorrect article a correct one? If we all thought that sort of correct was right we wouldn't be in the position of a leading country in all areas.
