Actually, this seems to be a synonym, eg. avibase Without looking to deeply, I expect it was modified to one or the other to accord with the rules of nomenclature. You might ask at Wikipedia:WikiProject Birds to see what is going on with that. cygnis insignis 16:12, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi James, there is a reason why we ask for references when changes are made. I've reversed your good faith scoticus edits, for some years now this has been corrected to scotica, the older form not being grammatically correct in Latin Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:36, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
