No content in Category:Alternate Wikipedia accounts of E
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Alternate Wikipedia accounts of E, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Alternate Wikipedia accounts of E has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Alternate Wikipedia accounts of E, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Adminstats question
I don't know if it's a bug (hence I did not follow User:JamesR/Bugs instructions), or if I'm looking in the wrong place, or what, but AdminStatsBot has made no edits since 08:39, 30 December 2008 (UTC) and there have been no updates in 2009 of User:JamesR/AdminStats. — Athaenara ✉ 23:23, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- The Wikimedia Toolserver (the host of the bot) has recently had maintenance (see here) and the database servers that replicate the Wikimedia databases for toolserver use have only returned in the last few hours. This is because there was some problems with the maintenance, so they kept this server off. The script will run again tomorrow at 00:00 (UTC), so the statistics should be updated then. I apologise for any inconvenience. — JamesR (formerly E) ≈ 10:39, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

upload images
Thanks- I have spent hours reading that over past 2 days and trying to perform it. I suspect one on my main problems is with this part:
"The procedure for adding images to articles is the same, regardless of whether the image was uploaded to Commons or directly to English Wikipedia. To make your uploaded file appear in an article, you need to insert it: edit the article and add the syntax
where you want the file to appear."
So does this mean in the wiki I am working on- where I have a few photos already,
I select edit, the paste in
. Then what- do I do that first before uploading?
Desination name- that throws me.
and how exactly do I fill that formula in? I have read and re read all the stuff. Which part of that formula are words I replace? for instance the word thumb. my images are at res 200 and are small but I didn't have or find the thumbnail option in photoshop when I made them. Does the first word "image" stay as the word "image"- then I write image name.Do I leave the word thumb even though they are not thumbs?
I think I placed 2 or 3 images in commons yesterday - how to I get them from commons to the wiki I am making?
These are all my own images and I want the most free use possible- least restrictive. I've reda all on that many times. One of your choices has recommeded next to it and that is what I think I should select.
Thanks for your help! Artfornow (talk) 14:06, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
orphaned article
Yes I forgot to ask you this. Now that I have added refs and hyper links and it is linked at the following wiki sites Stowe, VT Worcester MA Worcester Art Museum
when can the "orphaned " article status at top go away. Artfornow (talk) 20:07, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
I think there is enough there now that he will probably pass WP:PROF, so I didn't speedy delete. Just wanted to let you know. DGG (talk) 17:45, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- That is fine, thank you. — JamesR ≈ 01:20, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Apparently collateral damage from a block by you, but I can't find her autoblock or the user that triggered it. Can you help? Sandstein 15:00, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Hello JamesR. I am gratified to see EBot II taking closed SSP reports away. This one was left behind in the latest round on 6 January. Did I not close this one properly? It was closed with the usual {{SSPa}} template on 3 January. The bot seems to have taken away some newer ones already. Thanks for any advice, EdJohnston (talk) 18:43, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- This edit seems to have fixed the problem. Have a nice day :) — JamesR ≈ 01:19, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
- Good catch. EdJohnston (talk) 16:08, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello. I notice you recently protected this article due to edit warring. I have made a suggestion for article probation due to the high levels of edit warring. The suggestion can be found here. Your input is welcome. Thanks, D.M.N. (talk) 22:17, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
