Trivium (band)
[edit]I removed the genre(s) from the intro, not because of any inaccuracy, but rather because genres in intros seem to be a common target for anon disputes and vandalism. I also cleaned up the citation a little bit. --Wildnox(talk) 03:28, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Simple Plan Wikiproject
[edit]Hi! I've really appreciated you discussing the sp's genre with us (Wehwalt and I) and I think that you might consider joining the Simple Plan WikiProject. I know, along with Wehwalt, that you'd be a great addition to the "team" if you will, so really consider joining. Thanks! — Ian Lee (Talk) 05:47, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Edits violate Wikipedia project guidelines
[edit]Do not edit without understanding Wikipedia policies or Wikipedia Project guidelines and proper formats. The music project has set rules for proper formatting on music related articles. Genres are separated by commas and not breaks. Feel free to rm and html break coding and replace them with commas. Refer to WP:MUSTARD if you have any other questions. I am friends with many Wikipedia Administrators who can also assist you to edit correctly. Ignoring policies and [[WP:CON|concensus[[ rules is a quick way to being blocked. Best to read the rules of editing before proceeding any further. 156.34.216.45 03:14, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Their old albums are heavy metal, but their new albums use less distortion and probably could be considered rock or hardcore. I also believe that bon jovi, and van halen are not hard rock. Van Halen is practically pop, and hard rock has changed over the years, with a wider scope today. Guitardude3600 (talk) 14:21, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Alt.rock vs grunge (Nirvana)
[edit]Just take a look at the Crass talk page. You'll find a familiar name there, also disputing genre related stuff (sigh). And I reverted his changes to the Nirvana article. Channel ® 01:04, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Kid rock
[edit]Hello, I noticed you removed a reliable source for Kid rock being nu metal and claimed he wasn't mentioned in it. False, it specifically credits him and several other artists for, "creating a budding rock subgenre called nu metal." Please do not remove this correct label and might I say that it is quite easy to find other sources that refer to Kid as such. Thank you. Rockgenre (talk) 02:11, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
