Wolf O'Donnell
[edit]An important thing to understand about notability is that merely appearing in many works of fiction is not itself adequate to show the article is notable. It needs to be covered in reliable secondary sources, such as these ones. I encourage you to use the custom search engines on the second link to find sources that show WP:SIGCOV. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 16:32, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
- Wolf O'Donnell is the primary antagonist of the Star Fox series since Star Fox 64. Slippy Toad did have his own page at one point, but let's keep it as a redirect to the list of characters since he isn't that important to the series. I always thought Wolf was an important character in the series since he is a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Ultimate, even though he was absent in Smash for 3DS/Wii U. The other members of Star Wolf never got a chance to be a Smash fighter, so leave them as redirects. Jake Lugo (talk) Jake Lugo (talk) 17:36, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
- Being in a lot of games, or being an important character in the games, is not a show that it passes WP:GNG. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 18:06, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
- Error: I meant to say that Wolf is Fox's rival, not the main antagonist. The real main antagonist of the Star Fox series is Andross. Back on track, when characters have enough secondary sources, they have their own pages? Jake Lugo (talk) 03:29, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
Lucario
[edit]Why was Lucario's page reduced to a redirect? It is the most popular and iconic Pokémon from the Generation IV games and is notable for a major role in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. It is also known for being a playable fighter in the Super Smash Bros. series since Brawl and has not been cut in the series. Jake Lugo (talk) 00:56, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
