Blocked
[edit]You are encouraged to create a new account and contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. Our username policy provides guidance on selecting your username.
Alternately, you may request a change in username if you want to keep the contributions from this account. To do so, please follow these directions:
- Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
- At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked.
- You will have 24 hours after the unblock to file a request before you may be re-blocked. Please note, you may only request a name that is not already in use; do not create the new account then request a name change. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username.
In many cases (especially if your account has few or no edits), it is much easier to create a new account. You may also edit Wikipedia without creating an account. Due to Wikipedia's mechanism for enforcing name changes, your IP address may be temporarily blocked. Unless you have also been engaging in vandalism or impersonation of another user, we will remove that block as soon as possible.
If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you. Talk 03:08, 11 January 2008 (UTC)--Orange Mike | Talk 03:08, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
{{unblock|Orange Mike - Conflict of interest issues are not at play here. As the officer responsible for IT in the ANC, the web presence of the voluntary youth development organisation is my responsibility. The comments I removed were not in the best interest of the organisation, reflect one or two people's view and not the general view out there amongst cadets and staff. These comments do not benefit anyone. If the author wishes to publish them on their own site that is fine. We have a responsibility to uphold the values of our organisation, the Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Government. I fully support our members adding to the Wiki page, however what they add must be constructive. Wiki is NOT the medium to discuss operational ANC issues. Request unblocking of my account. Regarding the name, please advice of the "standards" and I will change my login name to comply. Apologies for any misunderstanding. Please contact me in private if you have any further concerns. Cheers, Jake Radloff. LEUT ANC.}}

- You are already unblocked. Please feel free to try editing the sandbox and go ahead and make the name change request listed above. The Evil Spartan (talk) 01:31, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
ANC AsstDirInfoSystems → JakeR03
[edit]- Current name: ANC AsstDirInfoSystems (talk · contribs · logs · block log)
- Requested name: JakeR03 (taken on other projects?) (rename user)
- Reason: Changing username to comply with standards, as above. Thanks. Jake R (talk) 11:47, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Australian Navy Cadets, you will be blocked from editing. You have been deleted material from this article in the past, and nobody wants to see a repetition of the prior problems. --Orange Mike | Talk 05:49, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
OrangeMike: Any removals were not from me. I have been busy updating the page with cites and references not removing content. The Talk page contained a question that had been dealt with, I mistakenly overwrote it instead of adding a new section regarding History. Thanks. JakeR03. 17 March 2008.
