Hi there. At Christian Brand you claimed FC Thun is "not known as Thun". Match reports from the club's official website indicate otherwise. @Robby.is.on: I think that you misunderstood the intention of WP:KARLSRUHER. In an infobox it should be clear for the reader which football club is meant without a lot of background information. If you write for example only Stuttgart in the infobox, the reader might assume the footballer played for VfB Stuttgart while it was in fact the Stuttgarter Kickers. The links you listed are irrelevant for this case because they refer to the websites of the particular clubs. This is a lot a of contextual information. At the website of FC Thun of course I would assume that Thun refers to FC Thun and not to FC Rot-Schwarz Thun, it's their website, why should they talk about a different club?

WP:KARLSRUHER says: Obviously in article prose, a shortened name can be used, once the proper name has been established, to make the text flow more easily. So when it is clear from context which club is meant then the name can be shortened to the name of the city. The Stuttgart example is a red herring. In that case there are clearly two at least moderately successful and known clubs so referring to either as "Stuttgart" would be ambiguous with introducing the proper name. I think that this confirms my opinion. If they use just "Thun" and "Sion" after the proper name has been established, this is okay. @Curly Turkey: I mostly edit football related articles, so I don't know about other areas. But if you look at the footballer articles, the height is usually listed in meters (or in feet and inch first if the footballer has strong ties to a country where those units are used). There is no real consensus about it, see the discussion here. Some say that only international competitions should be added and I agree with it. Also, compared to Sané's "real" honors (Premier League, FA Cup, etc.) such a U19 championship really looks very minor. ah, i see where you are coming from, the persons discussing the topic there seem not really aware about the german media landscape. if the player valuation is considered fictional (and it is rightfully not accepted to cite such guesses in wikipedia), it does not mean that statistical data or achievements about past events is user generated. and you should know that transfermarkt is used as reliable source in the german wikipedia :) i added a note here. --ThurnerRupert (talk) 03:42, 20 July 2019 (UTC)

@ThurnerRupert: I have never digged in the details of the reliability of Transfermarkt - I just know that it is owned by Axel Springer which is enough for me have some doubts about it. At the moment the consensus is that it is not a reliable source, just like the Daily Mail. Andreas Ottl/Jonas Hummels

I recently made edits to the pages for Andreas Ottl and Jonas Hummels, regarding their founding of the company RippleWorx. I'm a fellow founder and work with them. Our president has requested a wikipedia page for RippleWorx to be created (still trying to figure out how to do that), and to add reference to RippleWorx on the pages for Andreas and Jonas. @Arman Khanoyan: Yes, I am serious. According to kicker or Soccerway Adamyan played up to today (10 November 2019) 7 matches and scored 3 goals in the domestic league for Hoffenheim. You wrote 7 matches and 4 goals which is just wrong. And you did not update the time stamp at the bottom of the infobox either.
