Vinland Map
[edit]Hello Mrs Olin,
Thanks for your edits to the page Vinland Map. I have left your contribution unchanged in my recent edit of the article, but I should advise you that your work is no longer relevant. The identification by John Paul Floyd of both an 18th-century engraved version of Andrea Bianco's map, on which small mistakes in the depiction of coastlines regularly match discrepancies on the Vinland Map, and a volume existing in 1893 which matched the description of the Beinecke Library's Speculum Historiale / Tartar Relation combination except for the lack of any map, has proved beyond reasonable doubt that the Vinland Map is a fake.
