I have deleted the following paragraph from you contribution to the article:
However, the Gospel of John has also been referred to in anti-trinitarian arguments. The Jesus of the fourth Gospel compares his unity with the Father to a possible unity with and amongst the apostles.[1] This unity, in "The Great Intercessory Prayer," is extended to a potential unity of Father, Son, apostles, and all believers. The problem is that, while the opening statement is true, the rest is hard to understand, and the references inadequate. One does not want to know what verses are used by nontrinitarians, but rather who is using them the way you are stating, and how they are using them.
So if Arius, for example, used John 17:20 to support his doctrine, your reference must point to a work of Arius, not to the verse itself. --Blanchardb-Me•MyEars•MyMouth-timed 01:07, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
